Volunteer Opportunities at Campsie Drop In
Campsie Drop In operates weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and is a collaboration between Campsie Earlwood Clemton Park
Congregation and Uniting.
Those who attend live in boarding houses and many live with a physical disability or illness of the mind or are homeless or seeking asylum.
Volunteers are needed for various roles:
- Coordination and administration
- Mini Bus driver (C Class licence is ok)
- Picking up fresh vegetables and fruit from Coles
- Cooking and serving meals
and most importantly being willing to sit, listen and interact with people in activities and conversation.
The volunteer positions are suitable to people of all ages who are seeking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, young people wondering what to do with their lives or seeking experience in community welfare and social inclusion.
Campsie Drop In is registered with Centrelink.
Many of our volunteers receive good references
and find employment elsewhere.
